On Wednesday, the American celebration magazine Vogue announced publishing a new cover of its February issue that will depict a new photo of Kamala Harris.

The old cover was criticized due to showing Harris in very casual clothes, so it was replaced with a more formal one which received wide acceptance in American society.

The new cover which will appear in the markets was previously chosen for the digital version.

The magazine wrote on its website, "In recognition of the enormous interest in the digital cover, and in celebration of this historic moment, we will be publishing a limited number of special edition inaugural issues."

Both photos were taken by Tyler Mitchell, who became the first Black photographer to shoot an American Vogue cover when he captured Beyoncé for the magazine's September 2018 issue.
