Al Ahly's new signing Mahmoud Kahraba will feature in the Red Devils line-up for FC Masr encounter in the Egyptian League, Al Ahly's director of football Sayed Abdel-Hafiz said on Saturday.

In December, the Red Devils completed the signing of the Egyptian midfielder after terminating his contract with Desportivo das Aves by mutual consent.

"Al Ahly have not received Kahraba's international playing card yet, but he will show up in the line-up for FC Masr encounter," Abdel-Hafiz clarified.

The Egyptian League table-toppers are set to clash against FC Masr on Sunday as the Red Devils are looking forward to maintaining their unbeaten start to their Egyptian League season.

On Friday, December 13, the former Zamalek's midfielder signed  a four-and-a-half-year deal with Al Ahly. The Red Devils’ official twitter page posted a photo of Kahraba, alongside Al Ahly’s transfer market director Amir Tawfik. “Kahraba has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal starting from January with Al Ahly,” the official website said.

Who is Kahraba ?

Kahraba joined Portuguese Liga Nos side C.D. Aves in July 2019 after a disagreement over the validity of his contract with Zamalek SC.

The 25-year old player has been at the White Castle since August 2015, joining from ENPPI, but he spent two years on loan at Saudi’s Ittihad Jeddah.
