Universal delayed Tuesday the release date for George Clooney and Julia Roberts‘ romantic comedy movie “Ticket to Paradise”.

The romantic comedy was initially slated to open on Sept. 30, 2022, but will now open on October 21.

The movie, which also stars Billie Lourd, features Roberts and Clooney as a porced couple who come together to stop their lovestruck daughter from making the mistake they once made and learn along the way a surprise about second chances.

“Ticket to Paradise” is directed by Ol Parker, written by Parker and Daniel Pipski, and produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title.

The movie will now open a week after the release of other Universal movies “Halloween Ends” and “The Bad Guys” and shifts out of the way of Warner Bros' “Fantastic Beasts 3” and Paramount's adventure and romance movie “The Lost City of D”.

“Ticket to Paradise” reunites the stars for the first time in 10 years. The duo's last on-screen appearance was in the 2011 movie “Money Monster”.

The movie is filmed on a location in Queensland, Australia, aided by incentives from the Australian Federal Government, Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy, and with the support of the City of Gold Coast.
