A Los Angeles judge granted Wednesday reality TV star and businesswoman Kim Kardashian's request to change her marital status.

This comes after Kardashian filed a request to be declared legally single nearly three months ago. Her estranged husband, Kanye West, opposed the request.

The former couple has been in a contentious porce battle for one year. Together they have four children and were married for seven years.

In porce documents, Kardashian stated, "I very much desire to be porced. I have asked Kanye to keep our porce private, but he has not done so,".

She continued: "Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private family matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress,".

Kardashian shared her belief that the Court terminating their marital status will help the rapper to accept that their marital relationship is over and to move forward on a better path which will assist them in peacefully co-parenting their children.

The next hearing in the case, which will be a status conference, will be held on 5 August.

The reality TV star has been dating "SNL" star Pete Davidson in recent months, while West has been newly linked to influencer Chaney Jones.

In January, the rapper posted the song “Eazy” in the wake of news that Kardashian was dating Davidson. The song depicted how he was saved from the crash to beat Davidson.

He leaked a text in February on Instagram of a personal conversation with Kardashian. In the since-deleted texts she told her estranged husband that he was creating a fearful environment where someone will hurt Davidson and it will all be his fault.

West later posted that he was going to handle the situation and told his followers not to do anything physical to Davidson.

However, the rapper took his issues with the SNL member to another level on the same day.

West shared on Instagram a video for “Eazy” featuring the Game.

In the black-and-white footage, he kidnaps a claymation man that resembles the actor and puts a bag over his head, ties him to the back of his bike, and later drags him through the dirt, buries him, and plants roses on his head. West is also seen carrying a decapitated head as he raps.

Toward the end of the video, the screen reads: “Everyone lived happily ever after except you know who,” with the word “Skete” — the name West has used to refer to Davidson — crossed out.

The footage ends with the words: “JK He’s Fine.”
