CAIRO, SEPTEMBER 23(SEE): Anthony Joshua proved his dominance in his sixth title defense by knocking out (TKO) Russian gant Alexander Povetkin in the 7th round Via referee stoppage firing up the Wembley stadium.
Nearly 18 months after retiring Wladimir Klitschko in the same ring in front of many of the same adoring fans – the smiling gift to the heavyweight pision resumed his knockout run and now awaits his seventh challenger in his 23rd fight. Povetkin was able to maintain his composure and box evenly with Joshua for the first five rounds before succumbing to the age and power difference, crumbling in the last two rounds of the fight.
Joshua now awaits his next challenger; his next fight is slated to happen on April of Wembley stadium next year against and undecided challenger.
