Jennifer Lopez Unveils Trailer for Documentary “Halftime”

Hip-hop icon Jennifer Lopez unveiled Wednesday the trailer for her new documentary "Halftime".

The documentary follows the multitalented singer’s life and milestones as well as provides a special focus on her high stakes performances including the Super Bowl Halftime show and Joe Biden’s 2021 inauguration.

“Halftime” will make its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8 and will become available on Netflix on June 12.

Lopez, known professionally by the mononym J.Lo, is an American singer, actress, and dancer.

In 1991, she began appearing as a Fly Girl dancer on “In Living Color”, where she remained a regular until she decided to pursue an acting career in 1993.

She landed her first leading role in the 1997 Selena biopic of the same name, becoming the first Latin actress to earn over US$1 million for a movie.

In 1999, Lopez ventured into the music industry with her debut studio album “On the 6”, which helped propel the Latin pop movement in American music. Her other ventures include beauty and clothing lines, fragrances, a production company, and a charitable foundation.

Lopez is considered a pop culture icon as well as the most influential Latin entertainer in North America.
