Jared Leto's "Morbius" Postponed to October

On Monday, Sony Pictures postponed the release date for the upcoming Marvel film "Morbius" starring Jared Leto.

The film, which has been delayed numerous times due to the coronavirus pandemic, was pushed back by seven months from its debut. The release date has been pushed back from March 19 to October 8.

"Morbius" is directed by Daniel Espinosa and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless. It is based on the Marvel Comics character, Dr. Michael Morbius.

It also stars Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Tyrese Gibson, and Jared Harris also star in the film.

The film sees Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius, a biochemist who becomes a vampire after attempting to cure himself of a rare blood disease.

Michael Keaton, who played The Vulture in "Spider-Man: Homecoming", will also appear in the film.
