The producers of the new James Bond film “No Time to Die” announced that they spent about 55,000 euros on Coca-Cola during the filming of a particular stunt in the film.

More than 8,000 gallons of Coca-Cola were poured over a cobbled stone street in Matera, Italy to prevent Daniel Craig’s stunt double from slipping during the filming seeing as the fizzy drink provides the perfect sticky surface on the cobbled stones once it dries off.

The stunt included Craig’s stunt double rider Paul Edwards to ride over a 25 ft tall ramp at a speed of 60 mph before landing on the cobble stones.

The film’s stunt boss Lee Morrison announced that he has been spraying Coca-Cola on slippery surfaces for a very long time before adding that the fizzy drink leaves everything looking clean after being washed off.

The “No Time to Die” release was pushed back twice due to the coronavirus pandemic and is currently set to be released on April 2nd, 2021.
