Italy Records 14.2 New COVID-19 Cases within 24 Hours

The Italian Health Ministry recorded more than 14.2 thousand covid-19 cases in past 24 hours, compared to 13.6 thousand cases were recorded on Thursday, in addition, more that 400 deaths case, according to RT report.

Italy is ranks the 8th globally in infection outcome with the covid-19, and the 6th in the deaths number due to the pandemic. Previously, the government extended the health emergency to contain the coronavirus pandemic in the country until the end of April.

Moreover, on December 27, 2020, Italy, along with the European Union states, launched a mass vaccination campaign against the emerging corona virus. Noteworthy, Italy has so far registered 2.303 million coronavirus cases and 79,819 deaths.
