On Friday, the Italian Football Federation, FICG, set new regulations against the European Super League.
The FIGC approved an anti- Super League clause to prevent the Italian clubs to participate at the competition, iconic journalist Fabrizio Romano saidm
Romano wrote: “Italian Federation FIGC decided to approve clause to prohibit access to the Super League to Italian clubs… FIGC will not allow to join any competition other than UEFA, FIFA and FIGC ones. If any club joins Super League, it will be excluded from Serie A 2024/2025.”
The Super League won the court battle with UEFA. This rule would open the door to more teams to participate in the Super League competition without the permission of UEFA.
