On Sunday, the Lebanese state-owned agency NNA reported that a number of Israeli army troops crossed the Lebanese borders to steal some cows.

The report indicated that about 15 troops crossed the border gate facing the Lebanese Al-Wazzani and seized seven cows.

A number of journalists reacted satirically towards the news and established a hashtag called #freethecows.

The independent journalist Luna Safwan made the hashtag, on the other hand, Lebanese University student Hadi Salloum jokingly called for Lebanon's need for the seven cows.

However, this was not the first incident the Israeli army have been involving in Lebanon. Yesterday the Israeli army attempted to kidnap a second shepherd along the southern Lebanese border, the brother of the shepherd who was kidnapped and released 2 weeks ago.
