Israeli Military Boat Penetrates Lebanese Territorial Waters

Lebanese Army announced on Monday that an Israeli military boat penetrated the Lebanese territorial waters.

The Lebanese NNA posted a statement issued by the Directorate of Orientation saying that an Israeli military boat penetrated the Lebanese territorial waters nearby Rosh Hanikra Grottoes between 11:05 to 11.07 pm.

In the same context, the statement referred that the latest incident of penetrating the Lebanese sea borders is being discussed with the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon.

The latest Israeli act is considered as a violation of the Security Council's Resolution No. 1701 regarding ending the armed clashes between Lebanon and Israel in 2006.
