The Israeli army arrested on Thursday two Jew extremists who tried to infiltrate a military base in the West Bank.

"Kan" an Israeli official channel, said that soldiers in the West Bank Brigade spotted members of the extremist “Hillside Youth” movement as they climbed the wall of a military base.

The Israeli channel explained that the Israeli soldiers chased the intruders after they jumped inside the base.

The extremist elements tried to flee and return to a car that was carrying others waiting outside the base, but they were caught, according to the same source.

However, the Israeli army spokesman said that the military personnel spotted a short time ago, suspects who climbed the wall of a military base in (the West Bank) and sneaked  into the base."

He added, according to the same source: "The soldiers who rushed to the place of the suspects chased the intruders inside the base and managed to arrest them, along with two other suspects who were present near the base."

The army spokesman added, "The four suspected fighters were taken for investigation by the Israeli police.

The Israeli settlers in the West Bank used to harass the Palestinians.

The frequency of violent accidents committed by the Jewish extremists increased after the death of the settler "Ahviya Sendak" of the extremist "Hillside  Youth" group last month.

Over the recent weeks, the settlers have been organizing continuous demonstrations in the city of Jerusalem, to protest the killing of the young settler and to demand that the investigation into his killing be carried out by an independent authority.

The settler protests have witnessed repeated attacks on Palestinian cars that accidentally pass near their demonstrations, according to "The Times of Israel", which said that 25 attacks have taken place against Palestinians since the settler's death.
