Ismailia Stadium Ready to Host AFCON 2019 (Photos)

Ismailia Stadium officials are making preparations for the 2019 African Cup of Nations to be held in Egypt from 21 June to 19 July. The Stadium is almost ready for the African Championship and will host the Group F matches, It has been fully developed and planned.

The work within the Stadium also included the development of players and referees' rooms and in accordance with the requirements of the African Union CAF.

This version of CAF marks the first time that the Cup will be held with the participation of 24 teams. Egypt has already organized the Nations Cup four times before: 1959, 1974, 1986 and 2006.

In addition, Egypt has the highest record of winning the Nations Cup with seven titles- 1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008 and 2010.
