Islam Kortam: Ramy's Victory Inspirational for Egyptian Youth

KO squad founder Islam Kortam highlighted Ramy El Sebai's Mr. Olympia 2020 victory affirming that his victory will inspire the youth to seek their dreams on the biggest scales in life.

Earlier on today, Egypt woke up with very impressive news as Egyptian bodybuilder Ramy El Sebai also known as Big Ramy was crowned the Mr. Olympia 2020 title on Sunday- the biggest and most famous and prestigious bodybuilding competition in the world.

Mr. Olympia is considered to be the most prestigious bodybuilding contest in the world. Holders of this title include Hollywood Icons Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno and bodybuilding icons like Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman. All amazed the crowd with their impressive physiques.

Kortam Comments on Ramy's Historic Accomplishment

The Egyptian businessman Affirmed that Big Ramy's victory, came at a very hard and crucial time as the world is currently going through one of it's worst pandemics in history in the form of COVID-19 and that the champion had to overcome countless obstacles to become the first Egyptian and second Arab to claim the coveted title.

Kortam, who currently sponsors Big Ramy, expressed his joy that an Egyptian athlete reached the highest stages of one of the most popular sports in the world- bodybuilding. He was able to shine on the grandest stages, affirming this is a great victory for Egypt and Egypt's youth.

The KO Squad founder, who also sponsors more than 64 athletes, revealed that he plans to enable athletes to reach Mohamed Salah and Big Ramy status of success to inspire Egypt's youth that anything is possible with enough hard work and determination.

Kortam, who is often dubbed as the father of inpidual sports in Egypt, thanked the Ministry of Youth and Sports for supporting Egyptian athletes in every field, affirming that sports aren't just limited to competitions, but are also great mechanisms for cultural exchange between nations and contribute greatly to a nation's self image.
