The International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) hostile documentary toward Tehran, according to the Energy Committee of the Iranian Parliament, has forced the Islamic Republic to reduce its cooperation with the IAEA.

The committee held a meeting with the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi to discuss Tehran's policies regarding the IAEA's "unjustified" demands, according to Malek Shariati, the committee's spokesman, who spoke to the Iranian Student News Agency (ISNA) on Tuesday.

The IAEA Board of Governors' resolution condemning Iran was adopted, according to Shariati, "under political pressure and outside the bounds of the technical framework," according to a report on the procedure submitted by the AEOI spokesman.

In a report released earlier this month, IAEA Director-General Rafael Grossi accused Iran of hiding information on the storage of nuclear material at three "unannounced" locations.

Regarding the claimed existence of uranium particles, Iran claims to have offered technically sound justifications.

The Board of Governors passed an anti-Iran resolution as a result of Grossi's contentious trip to Israel late last month to speak with regime officials before of the IAEA conference.

As a result of the action, Iran reduced its participation with the organisation beyond its safeguard commitments, which partially resulted in the disconnecting of 27 cameras at Iran's nuclear sites.

Shariati stated that the Energy Committee supports Iran's decision to turn off the IAEA's monitoring cameras and added that Iran must further scale back its collaboration with the organisation outside of the Safeguards Agreement.

The Iranian MP added that during the discussion with the AEOI official, the committee placed a strong emphasis on the expansion of power plants.
