The United States issued visas allowing Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and FM Zarif to travel to New York for the annual gathering of world leaders at the UNGA next week, Reuters quoted Iran’s UN mission spokesman Alireza Miryousefi on Thursday.

The 74th UNGA opened on September 17, 2019.

Accordingly, Zarif will leave for New York on Friday to attend the U.N. General Assembly, the ministry spokesman tweeted on Thursday.
