Today, Iran's Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said that there are clear indications that Israel was involved in the assassination of the Iranian scientist.

Zarif tweeted that "The terrorists who assassinated an Iranian scientist today realize that this is a coward act."

Zarif added, "There are clues of Israeli involvement, which shows the desperate aggression of the terrorists."

He added, "Iran calls on the international community, especially the European Union, to put an end to the shameful double standards and condemn this terrorist act committed by states."

Iranian media had announced the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientist, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who worked as head of the Research and Innovation Authority at the Iranian Ministry of Defense.

It is noteworthy that the scientist Fakhrizadeh is one of the most prominent Iranian nuclear scientists that the Israeli intelligence seeks to assassinate, and Netanyahu announced his name two years ago in a press conference.

According to Iranian agencies, Netanyahu noted the danger of this scientist and published his image during a presentation in which he talked about the escalation of Iran's nuclear capability in recently.

It's noteworthy that Netanyahu's speech about the scientist coincided with America's announcement of its withdrawal from the nuclear agreement with Iran.
