The President of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach arrived in Egypt for a two-day visit.
He was received by the Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, the President of the National Olympic Committee Hesham Hatab, and a number of officials.
Moreover, Egyptian Tennis Table star Hana Gouda, and Egyptian equestrian Malak Ismail Shakir were at the reception of Bach.
It is scheduled for him to meet President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, tomorrow, as Egypt is considering a bid for organizing Olympic Games 2036.
The meeting will examine the possibility of Egypt organizing the 2036 Olympic Games, thus Egypt will be the first Arab and African country to organize this world championship
Bach will also inspect the headquarters of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, the Olympic Museum and many Egyptian sports facilities.
Hisham Hatab previously described the visit, saying: “Bach’s visit to Cairo is very important to discuss many important files,” ENOC chief Hisham Hatab said on Tuesday.
