Interior Min.: 330,000 Ukrainians Entered Moldova since Start of Russian Invasion

On Sunday, the Moldovan Interior Ministry announced about 329,000 Ukrainians have entered Moldova since February 24.

"In a period since February 24, about 328,754 Ukrainian citizens entered Moldova. In the same period, 228,000 Ukrainians left the country," the Interior Ministry stated on Telegram.

It is noteworthy that 5,000 and 270 Ukrainian citizens requested to be granted asylum in Moldova.

Since February 24, the Russian Forces military operations have been carrying out a special military operation to protect the Donbas region, in southeastern Ukraine.

During the last Period, Russian and Ukrainian officials held several negotiations with the aim of reaching a ceasefire between the two sides and settling the Ukrainian crisis.
