A delegation from the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), comprising 14 Indian automobile components companies, will participate in the Autotech 2019 Exposition to be held at Egypt International Exhibition Centre, Cairo from 13-15 December 2019.
The Indian Pavilion, under the aegis of ACMA, the apex body of the auto component manufacturing industry in India, at Autotech 2019, is supported by Government of India. Indian companies will showcase India’s OEM capabilities at the Autotech 2019.
In 2018-19, the Indian auto-component industry registered a turnover of over USD 57 billion, growing by 14.5 per cent compared to USD 51.2 billion in 2017-18. Its exports grew by 17.1 per cent to USD 15.16 billion in 2018-19 from USD 13.50 billion in 2017-18.
Auto-components are important items in the trade basket between India and Egypt. India exported more than US$ 134 million of auto-component products to Egypt in 2018 constituting 5.86 % of the total Egyptian imports from India and 4.99 % of total Egyptian imports of the product from the world.
