In Pics: Sisi Warmly Received By Ezbet Haganah People

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected early Friday developments of ongoing constructions at Ezbet El-Haganah district, below the Army Bridge in the 4,5 km area of ​​Suez Road by the National Roads Company, according to the Official Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador Bassam Rady.

“President Sisi also followed up the executive position of roads and axes extending from Heliopolis to the neighborhoods of al-Zaitoun and Ibn El-Hakam Square, as well as the Bridge of Suez Street, Al-Tagneed area, Hadayek al-Qobba and Ibn Sinder Square,” Rady added.

Moreover the president met with workers and engineers working at those sites, as well as some citizens who were present there.

“Sisi called for exploiting available areas under the two army bridges in favor of lifting suffering of the region’s residents whose population is approximately 3 million people through the establishment of parking lots, public and collective transportation, and commercial stores with its various activities, as well as recreational and sports areas to serve the youth of the region, in addition to establishing military, civil and traffic police points.”

Rady noted that Sisi ordered to take out an area from one of the Military units in favor of developing a street in the region to facilitate the provision of security and medical care, adding that “The president also directed the concerned authorities to pave the surrounding roads to facilitate the movement of citizens.”

The spokesman pointed out that Sisi was warmly received by the people of the region.

“During his Excellency’s tour, he saw a female vendor and ordered the concerned authorities to provide her a shop so that she can work at and promised her to be medically treated at the expense of the state,” Rady said.

The president vowed to manage the demands of the people and the speedy immediate achievement.

It’s noteworthy that Ezbet El Haganah has suffered from lack of attention and caring for decades as it was not provided with any kind of services and has lacked necessary infrastructure.
