Ihab Wins 3 Gold Medals in 81kg Competition at African Weightlifting Championship

Mohamed Ehab won 3 gold medals after he was able to lift 160 kg in the snatch and 191 kg in the clean and jerk with a combined number of 351 kg, afterwards he was crowned champion by Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy

Tunisia's Ramzi Bahloul came second after lifting 151 kg in the snatch and bronze medal after lifting 180 kg in the clean and jerk to a total of 331 kg.

The Egyptian champion Ahmed Al-Sayed won a silver and bronze after he was able to lift 144 kg in the snatch, and the silver of the clean and jerk after he was able to raise 185 kg to get a total of 281 kg.

The 29th African Championships for qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, is currently being held from 23 to 30 April at the Cairo International Stadium.
