Iconic Hany Shaker to Perform at Cairo Opera House

Egyptian Iconic singer Hany Shaker and Egyptian singer Soma will share the Fountain Stage at Cairo Opera House tonight as part of the 29th Arabic Music Festival and Conference events.

Shaker who is recognized as the Prince of Arabic music is a key participant at the festival annually because of his influence in the history of Arabic music.

In addition, he is the head of the Musicians Syndicate currently.

Yesterday, the stage witnessed an outstanding performance of Lebanese singer Assi El Hellani who brought the gems of the Folk Lebanese music to the Cairo Opera stage.

Arabic Music Festival and Conference's 29th edition takes place annually between 1 to 10 November.

The Festival’s activities take place in various venues including the Cairo Opera House different stages, Alexandria Opera House, and Damnhour Opera House.

The festival’s program carries 29 concerts, and the participation of 93 musicians, mainly from 5 Arab countries: Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia, Iraq, and Jordan
