The Hurghada International Airport received on Saturday the first flight coming from the Slovakian capital of Bratislava after 10-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The first flight was carrying 130 tourists, the Tourism and Antiquities Ministry said in a statement.

This trip comes as a result of the Foreign Ministry and the Egyptian Embassy in Bratislava's fruitful efforts to bring the Slovakian tourists back to Egypt in coordination with the Tourism Ministry.

It is worth noting that the number of tourists who visited Egypt since the resumption of the tourism movement on July 1 here reached about one million.
