How to watch Golden Globes on TV, stream online

The 78th Golden Globes will kick off today, Sunday, which is set to be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler in the first bi-coastal ceremony in New York and Los Angeles.

Fey and Poehler are reprising their role as hosts of the annual awards celebration for the fourth time. Fey will host the East Coast portions from The Rainbow Room while Poehler will host the West Coast segments from The Beverly Hilton Ballroom. They previously hosted globes in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

How to watch the ceremony?

The ceremony will unveil winners in 14 film and 11 TV categories. It will also witness the honoring of seven-time Globe winner and two-time Oscar winner Jane Fonda with the annual Cecil B. DeMille Award and Norman Lear with the Carol Burnett Award.

The event will air live on NBC as well as on the NBC website and app at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

The show will be available on the Roku Channel, as well as on paid subscription services such as Fubo TV, Sling TV, Hulu with Live TV, YouTubeTV, and AT&T TV.

The ceremony is set to broadcast Monday on Dubai One channel at 3 AM GMT. The show will be available on the channel's website.

Will there be a preshow or red carpet coverage?

NBC and E! Entertainment will offer fans a double dose of celebrity-filled entertainment in a handful of pre-and post-show.

The coverage will kick off at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET, with American actress Sarah Hyland joining E!’s Nina Parker, Erin Lim, and stylist Brad Goreski on Live From E!: Countdown to the Golden Globes as they count down the top 20 biggest red-carpet moments.

NBC’s Pre-Show is set to begin at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET while Live From E!: Golden Globes will begin at 3 p.m. PT/6 p.m. ET.

Furthermore, Hollywood Foreign Press Association will present "HFPA Presents: Globes Countdown Live", the official pre-show for the 2021 Golden Globes, will stream live from the official Golden Globes Twitter account and on GoldenGlobes.com from 6:30-8 PM ET/3:30-5 p.m. PT in the U.S.
