Hot Weather Prevails in Egypt on Wednesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Wednesday.

Moderate weather is also predicted to prevail in the Northern coasts, while South Upper Egypt will see extremely hot conditions.

It is also foreseen that the country will witness another decline in the temperature.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted there will be a chance of light to moderate rain, sometimes thunderstorms, hitting the south of the country, and the Red Sea mountain ranges, at intermittent periods.

Winds will be active from the north of the country to North Upper Egypt and South Sinai.

Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern coasts, at night.

It is also foreseen that moderate weather will prevail in South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 29C in Cairo, 24C in Alexandria, 20C in Marsa Matruh, 35C in Sohag, 38C in Qena, and 41C in Aswan.
