Hot Weather Prevails in Egypt on Sunday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts extremely hot weather to prevail in Cairo and South Upper Egypt, during daylight hours on Sunday.

Hot weather is also predicted to prevail in the Northern coasts and South Sinai.

It is also foreseen that the country will witness a temporary rise in temperature in most of the region.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted active winds will stir sand and dust in Cairo, Lower Egypt, the west of the country, and North Upper Egypt.

Pleasant weather is predicted to prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern coasts, at night.

It is also foreseen that moderate weather will prevail in South Sinai, North and South Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 36C in Cairo, 31C in Alexandria, 24C in Marsa Matruh, 39C in Sohag, 39C in Qena, and 40C in Aswan.
