Hot Weather Prevails in Egypt on Friday, Cairo 34C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts hot weather to prevail in Cairo, and Lower Egypt, during daylight hours on Friday.

Moderately hot weather is foreseen to prevail in the Northern coasts, while South Sinai and the south of the country will see extremely hot weather.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted winds will be active in Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, and North Upper Egypt.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with northeast surface winds.

Meanwhile, the Red Sea will experience moderate to turbulent waves, which will range between 2 and 2.5 meters in height, with western surface winds.

It is also foreseen that pleasant weather will prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and Northern coasts, at night.

Moderate weather is also predicted to prevail in South Sinai and the South of the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 34C in Cairo, 27C in Alexandria, 25C in Marsa Matruh, 33C in Sohag, 38C in Qena, and 39C in Aswan.
