Nelly Karim

Egyptian actress, Nelly Karim underwent surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, United States.

The actress took to social media to pay tribute to the medical team that saved her life.

“Thank you Dr Lin & amazing team ( Greys anatomy) for saving my life and making an amazing job.” she captioned.

Kevin Hart

American actor and comedian Kevin Hart broke back in a near-fatal car crash in Malibu in September. He underwent emergency surgery on his spine following the crash.

Hannah El-Zahed

El-Zahed was hospitalized days after her wedding to actor Ahmed Fahmy, while they were on their honeymoon aboard.

Larry King

Veteran talk show host Larry King revealed in November 2019 that he was in a coma for a couple of weeks after suffering a stroke in March.

Ahmed Fahmy

Egyptian actor, Ahmed Fahmy fainted at the location set of his TV series "El Wad Sayed El Shahat" after a sudden drop in blood pressure and was rushed to the hospital.

He was hospitalized a second time in December, where he underwent surgery to remove cells that appeared in the esophagus from above.

Ariana Grande

The “7 Rings” singer Ariana Grande was forced to cancel two May 2019 concerts from her Sweetener world tour, after she suffered an allergic reaction to tomatoes.

Haifa Wehbe

Lebanese superstar, Haifa Wehbe was hospitalized after suffering from a sudden health crisis.

Whoopi Goldberg

The "Sister Act" star Whoopi Goldberg was forced to take a month-long absence from "The View" in February after being hospitalized for pneumonia.

She was hospitalized a second time in April for "a 24-hour bug".

Angham

Egyptian superstar, Angham was hospitalized after suffering from a sudden health crisis. She posted on Instagram a photo of herself from her visit saying, “Praise to God.''.

Angham did not reveal many details about what exactly she was suffering from.

Mick Jagger

Mick Jagger, the Rolling Stones frontman and his bandmates announced on March 30 that they would be postponing their 2019 North American No Filter tour due to Jagger's health issues.

The "Gimme Shelter" singer had surgery to replace a heart valve.

Assi El Hallani

Lebanese superstar, Assi El Hallani has been badly injured after falling from his horse, he was rushed to the hospital after fainting. El Hallani suffered from fractures in his hand, arm, ribs, and neck.

Emilia Clarke

The British actress Emilia Clarke suffered a near-fatal subarachnoid hemorrhage shortly after she finished filming "Game of Thrones" season 1 in 2011.

Clarke was discharged a month later and began filming GoT season 2, but “struggled” on set. She was diagnosed two years later with another brain aneurysm and had to go under the knife for a second time.
