The Israeli army ( known as Israel Defense Force –IDF) has been forced to evacuate a military base in the northern part of the Occupied Palestine due to Hezbollah, a Lebanese Islamic resistant group.
Well-placed sources in the IDF said that the higher commandment has opened a comprehensive investigation into that case to spot the real motivations of excavation of Avivem military base next the borders with Lebanon.
The Arabic version of Russia Today (RT), a Russian news website had published a report on the evacuation of the Israeli base.
That report stirs controversy among the Israeli because withdrawal of the military personnel proves vulnerability of the IDF against the Lebanese and Palestinian resistant pro-Islamic groups.
Higher commandment of IDF issued a statement says the Maj. Gen, Aviv Kochavi, IDF Chief of Staff, ordered to conduct probes in that case took place in August.

The statement added that the Northern Israeli Commandment also supervised that probe thoroughly.
But the Chief of Staff did not reveal any measurements that would be taken against the local commanders.
He grilled the local leaders for permitting an armored vehicle to go to an area near the border line where fighters of the Lebanese Islamic faction deployed batteries of anti-tank rockets.
Kochavi considered that decision dangerous and irresponsible behavior. He criticized commander of that battalion for negligence and short of readiness for operations.
The IDF statement pointed out that there are directives forbidding moving any vehicles near the dangerous areas to avoid ambushes or patrol of the resistant fighters.
The Israeli army sealed a number of roads and mountain paths next the border line. The Israelis pretend that those safeguards deprived the Lebanese fighter from finding targets.
Kochavi directed concerned army officials to take disciplinary measurements against the local commandment for evacuating the military base of Avivem.
He summoned more officers for investigations. Those officers are expected to face accountability for negligence and breaking rules in front-line areas.
