CAIRO, Jan. 7 (SEE)- Africa is two days away from the awaited announcement of The Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding the new host of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament, and in line with this Egypt has released a promotional video to support its bid.
The declaration will proclaim which one of the two bidding countries, Egypt or South Africa, will replace Cameroon, that has been handed the 2021 edition, post being stripped of from hosting the 2019 version due to lack of organization.
The 2019 AFCON is set to be held from 15 June to 13 July, in which 24 teams will show off their skills as they vie for the title.
Egypt has hosted the continental tournament in 1959, 1974, 1986 and 2006.
