A report prepared by the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs revealed that 90% of the Arab discourse on social media websites reject the normalization of political and economic relations with Israel by Arab some states, according to the Jerusalem Post on Monday.

An article by Israeli writer Barak Rafid published "Walla" website stated that 90% of the critical speech on the relationship agreement was directed towards the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that led the initiative, not Bahrain.

According to the ministry's report, it is estimated that the Palestinian authority, Movement of the Islamic Resistance (Hamas),  and the pro-Palestinian organizations have initiated and encouraged much of this discourse against Israel.

In its report, the Israeli ministry recommended that Tel Aviv should promote an awareness campaign on Arab social networks, with a focus on the Gulf States and other countries that may sign agreements with them.

The author of the article points out that preparing this report is part of Minister of Strategic Affairs Uriet Farkash HaCohen's attempt to change the essence of the ministry’s work, which in recent years has mainly included activities against organizations that promote boycotts of Israel and the settlement project.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Israel reached a historic agreement on September 18, to normalize diplomatic relations between them under American auspices.

According to a tripartite joint statement issued by the three countries, US President Donald J. Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan "  agreed on the full normalization of relations between Israel and the UAE.

The statement described the agreement as a "historic diplomatic breakthrough" and affirmed that it would contribute to "consolidating peace in the Middle East region.
