The Egyptian Ministry of Health warned of forging Corona vaccine certificates, confirming that it has a criminal penalty; imprisonment from 3 to 10 Years.
The representative of the Ministry of Health and Population Hossam Abdel Ghaffar stated that the crime of "Forgery of Official Documents" applies to this document and its penalty imprisonment from 3 to 10 years. There is also another penalty for using forged documents. Therefore, this type of crime will be governed by the Penal Code and not by the Civil Service Code.
During a telephone interview to Egyptian television, Abdel Ghaffar added that the Supreme Committee for Coronavirus Crisis Management, headed by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, decided to prohibit the State's Administrative Apparatus' employees, university students and workers, and teaching staff, from entering their work or study starting from 15th Nov, unless they receive the vaccine or bring a negative PCR test every week.
He continued saying that public opinion can easily sense that things are fine, as the employees were not absent from work, which indicates that Egypt succeeded in vaccinating workers in the state's administrative apparatus and workers in universities and a large part of the university and higher institute students.
