Today, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that the average number of daily infections with the Coronavirus (known also as COVID-19) reached 4 cases, during the past week. The lower rate of infections is linked to efforts of the ministry to continue surveillance, investigation, and examination procedures.
The Ministry implements a plan to fight the deadly virus according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Dr.Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the average daily number of people recovering from the Coronavirus reached 16, after receiving the necessary medical care. It is noteworthy that the number of people who received vaccines against the Coronavirus in Egypt has reached 35 million and 178 thousand people.
