Dr. Zahi Hawass, well-known Egyptian Egyptologist and former Minister of Antiquities, affirmed that there is no such thing as "Curse of the Pharaohs," adding that it has nothing to do with the terrible incidents that took place in Egypt earlier.

Moreover, Hawass said that transferring royal mummies from the “Egyptian Museum” to the “Museum of Civilization” is a major move which they are proud of.

He also clarified that the death of scientists after the opening of archaeological tombs was due to the presence of toxic germs in the room in which the mummies were located, as the mummy was mummified for 3000 years and more.

The Egyptian archaeologist asserted that the royal mummies parade is the biggest propaganda for Egypt.

"Even if we had paid billions, we could not have been able to promote Egypt in this way,” he said. “The whole world will look at our country with great respect during the process of transforming mummies.”

Furthermore, he added that the parade will impress the whole world, citing the time when the country sent ‘Ramses II’ to France during the period of former President Hosni Mubarak, it was received by a huge royal reception.
