Hawass Reveals State's Preparations for Procession of Royal mummies

Well-known archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass  commented on the state's preparations for the procession of royal mummies, as the mummies will be transferred from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the Egyptian Museum of Civilization next April. Hawass said: "It will be a global event ."

Hawass added that the parade incudes 22 royal mummies will include 22 monarchs, stressing that President Abdel Fattah AEl-Sisi pays great attention to this event.

He revealed that the procession will move from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square at 6 pm, and the transfer will take from an hour to an hour and a half, indicating that this will have a positive impact on Egyptian tourism.
