Renowned Egyptologist Dr Zahi Hawass lectured at two separate events in Los Angeles. The first one was at Bower Museum for more than 550 audiences.
Due to the success of the first lecture, another one was organized and attracted more audience in the event and through TV. The number of attendance was almost 700.
During the lecture, Hawass asserted that Egypt is safe, and he invited all audiences to attend the special event on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Tutanahkamun Tomb’s discovery in Luxor on November 4.
Moreover, the Egyptologists expressed that the Egyptian administration is keen on preserving Egyptian heritage and antiquities, in addition to the opening of the GEM, the City of Arts and Culture, and the Museum of Egypt’s Capitals.
He also reviewed the latest archaeological discoveries and the process of the search for the Mummy Nefertiti, her daughter Ankhesenamun, and the search for the Mummy of Imhotep.
The expert also discussed the discovery of the Golden City.
It is worthy to mention that Hawass signed copies of his books about The Pyramids and Tutankhamun on the sidelines of Hawass lectures.
