Opera star Hani Hassan, the first dancer of the National Ballet Team, is preparing for his role in the presentation of "The Nutcracker" that the Opera House offers annually with New Year's celebrations and Christmas feasts at 8:00 pm. The events will take place on the 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th of this December, except for the 29th day of where he will be performing twice, once in at 12:00 noon and the other at night.

"I have been featuring in The Nutcracker for nearly 30 years," said Hassan, so it is the show closest to my heart.

I have played all the roles, starting from the children's roles, the rat king and the soldiers, and even the hero of the show, the charming character" Droselmayer ", who gives the heroine" Clara "a nutcracker doll, In celebration of Christmas night.

"Hassan" added that "The Nutcracker" is one of the most popular ballet shows for children, as its story is originally meant for children; in it, children from the ballet team play the largest number of characters, in addition to adults who love opera shows and love to celebrate Christmas and New Year.

The plot of show is about Clara, the girl who receives a gift - a Nutcracker doll in the form of a soldier- on New Year's Eve amid a huge party in her father's house.

The doll comes to life resulting in battles against many soldiers.

The doll and Clara eventually transform into adults at the end of the show and live happily ever after.
