Spain secured their main round berth in 2021 World Men's Handball Championship, which is currently taking place in Egypt, after defeating Poland 27-26.

This group is difficult; Spain is now first with three points, Brazil and Poland are sharing the second spot with two points, while Tunisia came in the fourth spot with only one point.

The Polish side mounted a superb comeback in the second half, thanks to goalkeeper Adam Morawski’s 17 saves, but will need at least a draw against Brazil in the last game to guarantee safe passage to the main round.

All the teams in the group have an opportunity to qualify for the main round as Tunisia could reach the main round if they defeat Spain on Tuesday or If they draw with Spain and Brazil lose to Poland. The Tunisian team will automatically qualify for the main round.
