GUC Trains Swedish Foundation Staff

Dr. Ashraf Mansour, Chairman of Trustees Board German University in Cairo, in the presence Mr. Ufa Vankenberg, Director of Swedish of Programs Academy of Technical Education, awarded certificates to trainees during the second training course.

The event was held on campus for teachers of Swedish Electric Technical Academy; it continued for 10 days, 80 training hours, the university provided full financial support for trainees.

Dr. Mansour expressed lauded the cooperation between both sides - the University and Swedish Foundation, saying that this initiative represents a model to be followed in the integration between universities and industry field.

Also, he urged everyone to strive in achieving sustainable development by providing professional education to talented trainees in Egypt, as well as providing technology and machinery such as; the university industrial complex.

He explained that the university follows the German system in education and training, which is a model to be followed in line with the state policy, which is keen to build the citizen and improve the ability to live and productivity.

On the other hand, Dr. Mona Othman, the training program director for teachers,  by Dr. Nuran El-Debeiki trained at the university and  assistant chairman of Board of Trustees Samia El-Asheiri,  reported that this training is in line with the university's philosophy as an experience house in practical training and research.

In addition to that, the teaching process makes students focus on educational science.

 Noteworthy, German University started its first activities of training course for Art Swedish Academy teachers in 2017.
