German University in Cairo (GUC) will inaugurate tomorrow Friday the activities of the professional certificate program in entrepreneurship at Management Technology college.

The program is implemented in cooperation between the GUC and Ministry of planning, follow-up and administrative reform represented in the “Pioneers 2030” project.

This program aims at enabling young people to create their own private projects and promoting entrepreneurial thought.

It also represents an introductory experience to support graduates from all disciplines in converting their ideas into a full business opportunity and training them on how to assess the markets and the financial viability of their projects.

The program duration is scheduled to take 32 hours of education and training distributed over four weeks.

The trainees will receive a professional certificate in entrepreneurship after submitting their graduation project of a completed business model for their start-up companies.

It is worth mentioning, last February of 2019, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Dr. Yasser Gamal Hijazi, GUC President, and Dr. Ghada Khalil, Director of the "Pioneers 2030" Project.

The MoU aims at implementing a package of training programs in the field of entrepreneurship to support “Pioneers 2030” project as part of the "One Million Entrepreneurs" initiative.
