GUC Sends Special Letter to Its Students Abroad due to "Coronavirus"

The German University in Cairo (GUC) confirmed that it does not have any positive case, whether confirmed or suspected, with those infected with Coronavirus "COVID-19", noting that the situation is changing rapidly due to the spread of the virus worldwide.

This is according to the letter, which was sent to the members of the university family who are abroad. The letter included the following:

"We hope that every member of the German university (GUC) family abroad is safe and in the best health, so far and according to our information at the moment, we do not have any positive case, whether confirmed or suspected, with those infected with Coronavirus "COVID-19". However, the situation is changing rapidly due to the global spread of the virus."

The letter continued: "Don't panic, you are GUCians, you are trained in the rational analysis of the situation and careful judgment to determine what is best, most appropriate and most safe for you."

"Whether you decide to stay abroad or return home, GUC will do its best to support you academically, by studying the case for each of you to take the necessary action according to your situation, academic standards and within our capabilities to support every inpidual of the university," the letter read.

The university concluded its letter: "You are absolutely free to make a decision and be sure that the university will provide support with all its strength, as you always do. Safety comes first".
