In line with the initiative launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide all means of support for youth, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the German University in Cairo (GUC) Ashraf Mansour pledged to assist youth by providing the necessary training course on crisis management to help achieve Egypt's Vision 2030.

In this regard, Abdel Ati El-Shaarawy, Director of Crisis Management and General Coordinator at the GUC offered a Crisis Management Program, which was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Moreover, a delegation left for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in the program during the period from December 20-26.

During the program, a range of crisis management issues will be discussed, including an explanation of the concept, its characteristics, causes, and methods, as well as ways to analyze emergencies and make decisions to avoid their occurrence in the future.

On his part, Mansour affirmed that this bilateral cooperation between the university and the ministry comes within the framework of a strategy aimed at developing the capabilities of Egyptian youth in various fields, and enhancing cooperation with the bodies concerned in this field.

He stressed that Egypt pays special attention to investing in youth, noting that the university is always working to contribute its technological and human capabilities in preparing programs that serve development projects.

It is worth noting that the university has offered 25 full scholarships for innovators from the Egyptian youth to travel to Germany to study in Baden-Württemberg, in addition to 5 supervisors from the ministry, provided that the ministry selects youth and academic specialization.

The session witnessed the attendance of Reda Saleh, Director General of Public and Foreign Relations, Mohamed Imam, Director General of Security and head of the youth delegation, in addition to several officials from the Ministry.
