Google released its 2020 top searched and top trending topics the Egyptians searched for during the year including the top 5 songs.
The top 5 searched songs in 2020 are classified as "Mahraganat" songs which faced huge waves of opposition and rejection.
"Oud El Batal" goes in the first place on the list. It was performed by Omar Kamal and Hassan Shakosh. On the other hand, their "Bent El Giran" comes in second place.
"Bint El Giran" was the main flame of the sparked crisis between the Syndicate of Musicians directed by Hany Shahker and the top-trending "Mahraganat" performers such as Hamo Bika, and Magdi Shata.
The third place is for "Hallah Wallah" by Hamo Bika, Fillo, and Abu Lela.
"Oud El Banat Ali" is the fourth one on the list and it is performed by the celebrated Mahragant duo Omar Kamal and Hassan Shakosh.
The final song on the list is "Shamsh El Magarah." It was a cooperation between the stars of the "Mahragant" genre: Omar Kamal, Hassan Shakosh, and Hamo Bika.
