The local gold market experienced a status of stability on Saturday due to stability in the prices of gold ounces in the global exchange markets. The main reason for that was stabilizing the prices of the ounces in the global markets that traded at $ 1745.
In the same context, George Michel, the Head of Gold Traders and Makers Syndicate, said that gold prices witnessed a sense of stability in the local market following stable prices of the gold ounces internationally.
Therefore, 24-karat recorded EGP 871, 21-karat reached EGP 762, 18-karat was traded at EGP 653, and the gold pound recorded EGP 6096.
