Gold prices increased in local markets during today’s trading, due to the rise in the ounce of gold price in the global stock exchange, amid the US dollar's weakness.
Lotfi Munib, Vice President of the gold pision at Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce said that gold prices rebounded after a wave of decline, as gold recorded its first weekly gain since the beginning of last month, rising by about 0.6%.
Munib added that 21-carat recorded EGP 772, while the gold ounce price recorded $ 1760.
Moreover, he noted that 24-carat recorded EGP 882, and 18-carat is at EGP 662, while the gold pound recorded EGP 6176.
