Gold prices rose slightly in the local markets during trading today, Thursday, with an increase in gold ounce price on the global stock exchange to a record $1776.
This came amid the foggy economic conditions, in light of the escalation of geopolitical concerns and tensions between the US and China.
Said Imbabi, Executive Director of the “i-Sagha” digital platform of gold and jewellery online trading, said that gold prices rose by about EGP 36 during today’s trading in the local markets, as the 21-karat recorded EGP 1065.
He added, that 24-karat recorded EGP1217, 18-karat recorded EGP 913, 14-karat is sold at EGP 7010, and a pound of gold recorded EGP 8520.
