Gold Prices Decline by EGP 4 in Week, 21-Karat Records EGP 806

Gold prices declined in the local markets by EGP 4 during the last week due to the fell of gold ounces in global exchange, and the rise of the US dollar.

Eid Youssef, Head of the Gold Division at the Chamber of Commerce in Menoufia said that gold ounces recorded $1877 in global exchange at the end of last week.

He added that 21-karat reached EGP 806 on Saturday after it was at EGP 810. The prices of ounces recorded $1877, comparing to $1891 at the beginning of the week.

He revealed that 18-karat reached EGP 691, 24-karat was at EGP 921, and the gold pound was traded by EGP 6448.
