Gold prices decline, 21-carat records EGP 774

Gold prices declined slightly in local markets during today’s trading, due to the decline in the ounce of gold price in the global stock exchange, and the rise of dollar price.

George Michel, Head of the Syndical Committee of Gold and Jewelry Industry and Trading at the Union of Egypt Workers, said that gold prices dropped by about 4 pounds in the local market, 21-carat recorded EGP 774, while the gold ounce price increased in the global stock exchange to record $ 1771.

He added that 24-carat recorded EGP 885, and 18 –carat is at EGP 664, while the gold pound recorded EGP 6192.
